15 Foods with Low or No Pesticide Contamination

Jun 4, 2010 02:12 AM

The Clean 15

Compramise. The key to any successful relationship. So lets say a boozy Friday night made you oversleep your alarm resulting in you missing your nearby farmers market Saturday morn. No need to stress yourself out or overextend your limited funds at "Whole Paycheck", just stick to the "Clean 15" list to help you eat more pesticide free this week. YES, farmers markets do more then just provide you with pesticide free produce choices (you support the local farmer/economy, stronger variety of produce, organic is better for the environment/you, better tasting food) but hey its about the baby steps. Happy Eating

The "Clean 15" is a list of foods, most of which have a strong outer layer that provides a defense against pesticide contamination. These foods were found to have during testing little to no pesticide contamination in the food.
